EXCITE Seminar: Intermediate IT

Last monday, Oct. 24, 2011 Caren, Cielo, Jovan and I went to URS Morong Campus to attend the Excite Seminar, at first I was wondering if what will be the seminar is all about. When I enter the room I saw Sir Fernan talking about the MS Excel, at first I was upset due to I already knew how to use MS Excel. But, just like Mr. Buddy Repia, the Division of Rizal ICT Coordinator, said on our GILAS Seminar held last September at our school, "In order for us to learn new things, we must empty first our knowledge cup to be able to grasp the new learning". So I followed what Sir Repia told us and suddenly I was to eager to finish all the activities presented to us by Sir Fernan. As the hours goes by, I learned new things and remembered all the things that was previously been taught to us. The use of commands such as IF, NESTED IF, VLOOKUP, RANK, CONDITIONAL FORMATTING, and a lot more. At the end of the day,although it was a very tiring event, I am glad that I attend the seminar due to the things that I learned. Now we are taking up lessons on creating a BLOG, although I already new to create a blog, it did not stop me to listen and appreciate the seminar.  Thanks to the Staff of EXCITE, to my colleagues, and to our Proctor, Sir Fernan and Sir Neil John.

EXCITE seminar

Excite seminar gives us training on the use of excel and blogging which I think really suits on our profession.  More power to the forerunners of the EXCITE Seminar. I'm hoping that there will be more upcoming seminar from the EXCITE.
